The Surgical Sites Are Healing - 06/25/2007
Well, the surgical sites are healing well. This is the one under my arm. My arm is still abit stiff. When I straighten it out it feels like there is something pulling in the inside. I exercise it daily, and it seems to get abit better everyday! Now I can put my shirt on without anyone having to help me and without feeling too much pain. My upper arm is still numb on the side that is closest to my armpit. It is a very strange feeling. I am worried about Arm Lymphedema .
These are the scars under my breast. My nipple is still blue and it may be as long as a month before it changes back!! I put Neosporin on it twice daily. The circular one is a "tape burn" and it is alittle infected, but the Dr doesn't seem to worried about it!! Every now and then I get these sharp pains in my breast. It actually feels like someone is stabbing me with something sharp. The Doctor says, "That is the nerve endings coming back to life. It is a very good sign!" I believe her!!
