June 6th & 7th, 2007

Well................today, June 6th, I went in for my biopsy and again, not so painful.
It was just like the last one except they put me on the MRI table and did it that way.
It was like the biopsy and MRI from the previous posts put together!!
Now....to wait until tomorrow or Friday for the results.
It makes me so nervous waiting for the results because I immediately think
the worst even though I am trying to stay completely positive!!
I feel that I think the worst because I am HOPING for it will be the exact opposite!!

June 7th.......Approximately 4:30pm.

The results are in...........NEGATIVE for cancer in the right breast!!
Whoooooooo Hooooooooo!!!!
I cannot tell you how relieved I am!!
One less choice I have to make about reconstructive
surgery for a double mastectomy.
Now, hopefully, I can have the surgery on
the 12th and that will go smoothly!!
I was sooooo scared that I was going to have to have both
of my breasts removed on the same day!!
What in the world would it feel like to wake up
and they would be gone?!?!
I really hope I NEVER have to find out and I feel so sad for the women
that have had to find out.
They will be watching this spot in my right breast and I have
to have a repeat MRI in 6 months!
I don't mind it though because I would always be nervous anyway!!!
