My doctor calls and tells me that the MRI found 2 suspicious spots in my RIGHT breast and that I need to come back in for another ultrasound for the "other" breast.
"WHAT!!!!! You have GOT to be kidding me!! I am having surgery in 5 days and you didn't tell me that this was going to happen!!" That is what I wanted to scream at her at the top of my lungs.
My heart dropped to the bottom of my feet and a rush of heat ran through my entire body. I, immediately, thought, "Why is this happening to ME - isn't there some really EVIL person in the world this could be happening to instead? OK...........breathe, breathe." As the words "double breast cancer" roll throughout my head now. This cancer BEAST is NOT on my "life list" and I would like it off please! DAMN IT!!!!
Anyway, they gave me an appointment for the Friday 25th of May.
